PROFILE OF DR PRINCE OYEBADE OYEDEPO FCA, JP

Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Certified Forensic Accountant, Chartered Certified Forensic Auditor, Chartered Certified Forensic Investigator, Tax Practitioner, Writer, Author and Public Affairs Analyst.

He was born some 62 years ago in Eruwa, Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo State into a Royal Family. He is an Alumnus of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso (LAUTECH) where he bagged a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant 35 years ago (1991) at the age of 26 due to a dint of hard work. He is a fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Institute of Arts, Management and Professionals, Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria. He is also an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).

Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo was conferred with a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration (Honoris Causa) by Prowess University, Delaware, United States of America in 2023. He was also conferred with a Justice of the Peace of Oyo State by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde in 2026.

He has extensive experience in auditing, accounting and consulting. He is the Managing Partner of Oyebade Oyedepo & Co, a firm founded by him in 1994. He is the President of MFP Group Nigeria and MFP Global Services, a group of multiethnic and multidisciplinary finance professionals across the length and breadth of Nigeria.

He has served his profession in several capacities. He is a Past Chairman of Ibadan & District Society of ICAN & CITN, Past Western Zonal Chairman of ICAN, Pioneer Conference Chairman of Western Zonal Accountants’ Conference, Former Coordinator of Minna & District Society of ICAN and Former Member of ICAN National Governing Council.

He is a Patron and the Living Legend of Ibadan & District Society of ICAN. He is also the Father of Lagelu & District Society of ICAN.

He was an Examiner and Chief Invigilator of ICAN Examinations for many years. He has also represented ICAN in and out of the Country on technical matters. Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo has served the public on several occasions. He was a Member of an Administrative Panel of Enquiry in Oyo State in 1996 and a Judicial Commission of Enquiry in Oyo State in 2008. He was also the Rapporteur General of the 1st Oyo State Stakeholders’ Forum on taxation in 2007.

He has served as a Board Member of Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency. He has also served the Country as a Member of curriculum and course specifications committee set up by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in the course of introducing the study of National Diploma in Taxation in 2012.

Apart from this, his accounting firm has served as external auditors and consultants to some federal and states agencies for many years. Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo is a prolific writer and author of four books published by Evans Brothers (Nigeria Publishers) Limited including his Autobiography titled, Finance Professional in Unending Adventure. He has also written several articles in local and international journals. He has delivered over a hundred (100) public lectures in the last 20 years.

Dr Prince Oyebade Oyedepo served the literary society as a Vice Chairman of Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Oyo State Chapter from 2020 to 2022. He is a seasoned paper presenter and a public affairs analyst of excellence who has received close to 100 awards from Corporate Organizations, Institutions of Higher Learning, Professional Bodies, Government and Students across Board. Above all, he is happily married with good children who are doing well in different professions such as medicine & surgery, law, accounting and mass communication. He is a Christian by faith and a member of Living Faith Church denomination.

PROFILE OF MR ABIODUN ADEDEJI, B.Sc., MBA, M.Sc., (Ph.D in view), FCA

Biodun Adedeji, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria,, Alumnus of prestigious Lagos Business School of Pan African University and Doctoral student at the University of Ibadan.

Biodun was educated at the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti; Lagos State Polytechnic, (now Lagos State University of Science and Technology) where he studied Business Administration and Management. He obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with Second Class Upper from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye; Master’s degree in Business Administration specialising in Finance from the University of Ibadan and another Master’s Degree in Accounting from the same University of Ibadan. He is currently one of the pioneer Ph.D students in Accounting at the University of Ibadan.

Biodun who worked for 25 years in Odua Investment Limited with excellent performance was rewarded with accelerated promotion and became the first and the only staff to be promoted yearly in 3 consecutive time in the history of Odu’a Group since the conglomerate was established in 1976. He was promoted in 2003, 2004 and 2005 before joining management cadre of Odu’a group as a Senior Manager, Investment in 2005. He worked across all the sectors within the group which included Real Estates, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Leasing and Service Industry. His last role was the Managing Director of Ire Clay Products Limited where he led the team that revitalised the company and subsequently became the Managing Director in 2015 and was on record to move the company from 0 turnover to almost N250 million turnover.

He served on Presidential Committee on Housing and later as the Chairman of Technical Working Group between 2021 and d 2023 on revitalization of moribund bricks owned by the Federal government and committee that prepared medium and long term expenditure framework plan for Oyo State.

Biodun and his wife floated Hezab Group in 1996 with business interests in Information and Technology, Publishing, Consulting, Training and Advocacy. The company with extensive connections and collaborations with top level consulting firms across Africa, Asia, United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, and the United States. The Consulting Group has trained over 500 Vice-Chancellors and other principal officers of Nigerian Institutions in United States, France, Finland, United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Kenya, Kigali, Ghana among others.

As a Chartered Accountant, he has been very active in the activities of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He was the Chairman of Ibadan and District Society of ICAN between 2020 and 2022 and noted for his superlative performance by moving the income of the District from N1.8 million to over 50 million within 2 years; grew the asset base from N6million to over N50 million and ensuring that the secretariat of the Institute was built from foundation to completion. He led the team that ensured that the secretariat of 50-year old of Ibadan and District Society moved from a rented apartment to the newly completed secretariat within his 2-year tenure as the Chairman.

At the Zonal level of ICAN, he was the Rapporteur-General for the Western Zonal Accountant’s Conference for upward of 8 years in 8 zonal Conferences, Conference Chairman of 2024 Western Zonal Accountants’ Conference in Ibadan, the first Western Zonal Conference to cross Gross income of over N100 million in the history of Western Zone and the first to be supported by majority of South West Governors with financial support from Oyo, Ondo and Osun States. He is the longest serving member of the Western Zonal Accountants’ Conference Principal Officers, having participated as a member of the CPO in more than 15 conferences.

At National level of ICAN, he has served in quite numbers of committees before he was elected in May 2024 to the prestigious member of Governing Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

He is currently the patron to Lagelu and District Society, Obio-Akpor and District Society, Ife and District Society, and Ifako-Ijaiye and District Society and recipient of many awards in more than 10 District Societies and involve in many communities services. He is the National President of Modakeke High School Old Students’ Association.

Biodun’s hobby includes teaching, mentoring, coaching and travelling. Despite his busy schedule, he still engages in teaching at various tertiary institutions namely: Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, 2002-2004, The Polytechnic Ibadan, 2002-2010, Precious Corner Stone University, Ibadan; 2020-2023 and currently with Dominican University, Ibadan from 2024 till date.

Lady Lolo Chioma Obianuju Ojukwu B.Sc. (ABSU), MBA, M.Sc. & Ph.D. (UPH), AMNAA, ACTI, FIPMD, FCA.

Lady Lolo Dr. Chioma Obianuju Ojukwu is an Accountant that is passionate about impacting knowledge and skills to students, fresh graduates, employees and employers in the public and private sectors of the economy, policy makers, entrepreneurs, small-and-medium-business owners, and the general public for better efficiency and results.

In her first degree in Abia State University, she graduated as the Best Graduating Student both in her Department and her Faculty in year 2000. She was inducted as an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in Nov. 2007. She is the Pioneer Chairman of ICAN Obio/Akpor & District Society, the Immediate Past Chairman and a Patron of the District. She is a Fellow of ICAN, a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development (IPMD), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and an Associate Member of Nigerian Accounting Association (NAA). She has attended several certification courses, trainings, workshops, and conferences.

Work Experience:

She has worked in several positions in the private sector organisations ranging from Audit and Assurance Services firm to Oil and Gas services firm before joining the public sector in 2013 as a Senior Internal Auditor and grew to Principal Internal Auditor in Internal Audit Department, University of Port Harcourt.
She converted to a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Port Harcourt in Oct. 2019 as Lecturer II. She is currently a Senior Lecturer.
She has several academic publications both in national and international journals, e-Books and textbooks to her credit. She has also presented some high impact papers in different platforms.
She is a Consultant for organisations in the areas of Accounting, Accounting Information System Set-up, Taxation and Financial Management.

Alhaji Lukman Dauda is an accomplished Nigerian publishing executive and a prominent leader in the country’s book and educational publishing industry. He currently serves as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Evans Brothers (Nigeria Publishers) Limited, one of Nigeria’s established educational publishing companies.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (FPIN). His professional experience combines financial management, corporate leadership, publishing, educational development and stakeholder engagement.

In November 2024, Alhaji Dauda was elected the 25th President and Chairman-in-Council of the Nigerian Publishers Association. His leadership agenda focuses on innovation, inclusiveness, capacity-building, advocacy, operational automation and stronger collaboration between publishers, government agencies and other stakeholders in the book industry. In May 2026, he was elected Chairman of the Nigerian Book Fair Trust, the umbrella body representing major stakeholders in Nigeria’s book ecosystem, including publishers, authors, booksellers, printers and librarians. PROFILE OF DR (REV’D MRS) FOLAKE SABA

Dr. (Rev’d Mrs) Folake Saba was born over 5 decades ago to the family of Late Dr. Kola Oladipupo of Oro, Kwara State. She grew up in a University community which impacted on her behaviour and educational pursuits. She had her elementary education here in Nigeria and the United States of America.

She attended Offa Grammar School Offa for her secondary education. She was the Head Prefect of the school as a proof of her leadership qualities and abilities.

Dr. (Rev’d Mrs) Folake Saba graduated from the University of Maiduguri with a B.Sc Degree in Accounting in 1989.

She has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from University of Ibadan and a Masters of Science Degree in Economics from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

She has recently bagged a PhD in Accounting from Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State.

She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991. She is also a qualified banker. Dr. (Rev’d Mrs) Folake Saba is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

She worked as the Audit Senior at Otunola Adebayo & Co and KPMG in the early 90s. She also worked as the Regional Accountant at Afribank Nigeria Plc for some years before moving to the University of Ibadan as the Pioneer Deputy Director of Audit in the Internal Audit Department of the Premier University.

Dr. (Rev.d Mrs) Folake Saba is the first female General Secretary of Ibadan & District Society of ICAN and the Pioneer Coordinator of SWAN of Ibadan & District Society of ICAN. She is the Managing Consultant of Joyworth Consulting.

She is a Pastor at The Saviour’s House of Glory Ministries, Ibadan.

Background / Education

Dr. Temitope Babajide born into the family of Chief & Chief Mrs. Christopher Ejiade both of blessed memory had her elementary education in the city of Ibadan. For her higher education, she went to The Polytechnic, Ibadan and graduated with the Higher National Diploma in Accountancy in July 1988. In pursuant of a University education, she proceeded to the University of Ibadan for her Masters of Business Administration (MBA Finance option) and she graduated as the best graduating student in November 2007 where she got the Bassey Ewa Henshaw award and the Abiola post graduate award for the best student in MBA. She was also awarded with the Oba Ogunmokun Bilade III memorial prize to the best student in MBA. She later went to the Leeds Metropolitan University in Leeds, United Kingdom to bag her Masters in Corporate Governance degree in November 2011.

In her quest for further University Education, she went to Lead City University, Ibadan for her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and she finished top of her class with a First Class Honours in 2013. Dr Mrs Babajide went back for her Masters in Accounting from the University of Ibadan in 2019 and she had her Doctor of Philosophy in Accounting from the Lead City University in November 2021.

For her professional qualifications, she became a member of ICAN in September 2001 and a Fellow in April 2013. She also became a member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria in 2008 and then a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management in the year 2011. For further professional education, she became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in 2018. She later undertook some Artificial Intelligence modules in Human Resources Management in April 2026.

Publications/ Articles

She has authored fifteen publications in the course of her academic pursuit, which include "The Board, the Executive, and Good Governance" case study of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan for her dissertation for Leeds Metropolitan University, UK, and also co-authored "Sustainability Reporting and the Performance of Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria," a conference paper for the Bowen University academic conference in November 2021, among others.

Services to the Accountancy profession

Dr. Temitope Babajide has been an assessor/ examiner with the Institute of Charyered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) since 2013 and she is a team leader for the Corporate Reporting group (Professional Exams) and also a team leader for the Public Sector Accounting group in the ATSWA Exams. She has served as a member of various committees of the Institute at one point in time or the other and some of these are Publications and Image Committee (2014 -2017); Annual Accountants Conference Committee (2017), Mutual and Cooperative Agreement with Tertiary Institutions MCATI (2017 2018). She served as a member of the ICAN Accreditation Team to so many Tertiary Institutions including Babcock University, Illishan, Benson Idahosa University, Benin, Covenant University, Ota, Yobe State University, Damaturu, Joseph Ayo Babalola University, Arakeji and a host of other Tertiary Institutions.

She has served the Ibadan and District society of ICAN in various capacities rising from Assistant General Secretary (2012 -2014), General Secretary (2014 -2016), Treasurer (2018 - 2020) to the 23rd Chairman of the District Society in 2023/2024. Dr. Temitope Babajide served as the 5th Chairperson of the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN) from February 2018 to April 2020. She was the Deputy Chapter Chairperson of SWAN for two years before then.

Religious activities & services to the Society

Dr. Temitope Babajide attended the New Covenant Church Bible School for her Diploma in Biblical Studies and she was the valedictorian of the set upon graduation in April 2021. She is the coordinator of the Ushering team of her church, New Covenant Church, Onireke. She is the Treasurer of the Peace Estate Landlords Association after serving as the auditor of the same association previously. Dr. Temitope Babajide is the vice president cum financial secretary of the Rock (Ibadan) multipurpose cooperative society of the New Covenant Church.

Family and work

She is presently working with the University College Hospital, Ibadan where she rose through the ranks to the post of a Deputy Director (Finance) and heads the Financial and Fiscal Reporting division of the Finance and Accounts Department.

Biography of Professor Olayinka Adenikinju

Professor Olayinka Adenikinju holds BSc and PhD degrees in Economics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria as well as an M.Sc in Project, Analysis, Finance and Investment from the University of York in the United Kingdom. She is currently a Professor of Economics as well as Provost of the College of Management and Social sciences,Bowen University.

Prof. Adenikinju had previously worked at the National Center for Economic Management and Administration (NCEMA) and also at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife as well as the Trans International Bank (TIB), Nigeria. Olayinka was Visiting Scholar to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in 2006. She won the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) thesis support grant and also AERC research grants for many years. She is listed in the “Youth in Achievement” published by the International Biographical Center, UK. Her research interests include Financial Economics, Financial Management, Gender and Issues in Economic Development. She has published extensively in Local and International Journals including Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Energy Economics and Policy;International Journal of Management Journal of Economic Studies; EconJournals; African Journal of Economic Policy; Nigerian Journal of Economic and Social Studies; The Nigerian Accountant and Journal of Economic Management. She is a Life Member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES); member, African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), Nigerian Association of Energy Economics (NAEE), Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), and International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE).She also has certificates in Capital Market Development awarded by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in 2004 and Corporate Finance Fundamentals awarded by the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) in 2023.

Olayinka was 2nd Chairperson of the Society of Women in Taxation (SWIT) and Pioneer Editor, Tax Info Magazine (a publication of the Ibadan and District Society of CITN). She has been an Examiner with ICAN; Assessor in Strategic Financial Management with ICAN, 2012- 2016. She is the current Research Coordinator for the Multidisciplinary Finance Professionals (MFP).

She was Acting Head, Department of Economics, 2006- 2008, Acting Head of Accounting and Finance from 2014 to 2019; and Sub –Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences, 2008- 2013. She has also served as a consultant for the New Partnership, for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
